Intentions of the Coaching Program

  • To provide on-going development and support for mid to senior IT leaders. 

  • To cause an increase in accountability, confidence, skills, and results.

  • To support the IT Transformation journey of your IT organisation as it navigates up the IT Maturity Curve.

Overview

Coaching program participants will be worked with on an individual on-going basis.  Through a combination of business consulting, coaching, professional and personal development training, we will strategically plan how they can best achieve their goals and realise the intentions of the IT area.  We will build on their strengths and improve their weaknesses.  We will eliminate the barriers that stop them from performing and producing at the highest levels.  We will have each and every participant develop the mindset, habits and skills to consistently drive performance.

Coaching Content

The coaching of each participant will consist of on-going support and development in 3 distinct areas:

BUSINESS CONSULTING
Support and assistance in strategic thinking and business planning, decision making, goal setting, management, managing vendors, performance evaluation, etc.

BUSINESS SKILL DEVELOPMENT
Training and development in business skills such as leadership, consulting, communication, team building, sales, negotiating, client service, etc.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
Developing and maintaining a proper mindset to reach one’s maximum potential. Increasing motivation, developing confidence, creating higher levels of satisfaction, and eliminating barriers to performance.

Elements of Program:

STRATEGIC THINKING:
Monthly Planning Session

Each month, we will work with each participant in a strategic planning session to think through their goals, objectives, activities, commitments and the attitude/mindset required to have them be achieved in alignment with the mission and vision of your organisation.

ACCOUNTABILITY:
Weekly Coaching Call

The weekly coaching call is the regular check in point to see how progress is being made on the strategic plan.  It is the opportunity to evaluate and learn from what is working, what is not working, to make necessary adjustments and to also ensure that the “Performance Mindset” is being maintained.

SUPPORT:
On-going Phone and E-mail Interaction

When a participant needs additional support, they can reach out with a phone call or email to provide the input that they require or if they need a “quick attitude adjustment.”   We are available to them on an on-going basis.    They have their professional and personal development coach and consultant on call.
